Club Rules- All members, guests and public players must check-in at the Golf Shop before beginning play. - All play must begin off the first tee unless given permission is given by the Golf Shop staff. Non-members may start of the back 9 during the first hour of play only. Only members may be given permission to start on the back 9 after the first hour of play. Permission may be denied based on a number of reasons, all decisions by the golf shop are final. - Practice is not permitted on the golf course at any time. Any practice should be done on the driving range or the practice area. - Each player must have his/her own clubs while playing. No club sharing is allowed. - Jogging, bicycling, walking, rollerblading, skateboarding or any other similar activity is not permitted on the golf course at any time, regardless of membership status. Any and all non-golf activities are prohibited on the golf course. - Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times unless they are evaluated by the Professional Golf Staff to make sure they possess adequate knowledge of golf, it's rules and the etiquette of the game. - No personal beverage coolers are permitted. All food and beverage must be purchased from the club. - Club management reserves the right to close the course from time to time for maintenance or special events. - Members only may play in fivesomes Monday-Thursday anytime and Friday - Sundays and holidays after 2:00 PM. You must first receive permission from the Golf Shop prior to playing in a fivesome. If granted permission to play as a fivesome, you are expected to maintain your position on the golf course with the group in front of you. - Non-members must take cart on weekends and holidays before 2:00 PM. Members are permitted to walk anytime. Walking members are expected to maintain their position on the golf course with the group in front of you. - All players must adhere to the "pace of play" policy at the club. Rangers may at times be on duty to regulate play and enforce cart rules. Your cooperation is appreciated. The USGA recommended "pace of play" for King's Deer is 4 hours 30 minutes. -The Club has no warning system for lightning. It is the players responsibility to evaluate the danger and seek the appropriate shelter. -The hours the golf course will be open may change from time to time. The Golf Professional and the Course Superintendent will determine when the course is open and the cart rules for the day. - Each member as a condition of membership, and each guest as a condition of invitation to the premises of the Club, assumes sole responsibility for his or her property. The Club shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any private property used or stored on the premises of the Club. - Ball hawking is not permitted on the course. Marshes and water hazards are property of King's Deer and only they may be permitted to remove or employ others to remove golf balls from them. -Tee times may be made 5 days in advance for non-members and 7 days in advance for our members. - For starting times, twosomes and singles will be paired with other players, if available, at the discretion of the Golf Shop. Tee times will not be taken for single golfers. |
